Babesta’s Top Holiday Picks

It’s not even Halloween and yet the holiday season already seems to be in full bloom and on everyone’s mind.  My custom holiday cards have already been ordered and I’m knee deep in lists of holiday must-haves.

This morning I was given an exclusive look at Babesta‘s Top 20 picks for the holidays from unique brands from around the globe.  I’m highlighting the 10 that stood out the most and I would want for my family:

Jellio Gummi Bath Toys (SRP $28 set of 5)

I’ve had my eye on Jellio’s gummi lights so I was like a kid in a candy store when I saw that they are now available as squirty bath toys.  Sorry, Rubber duck, but it’s time to swim out of the way.

Kalon Studios Caravan Crib (SRP $695)

IF I was in the market for a new crib, the various color options sold me on this sleek, modern anything but “sleeper”.

Smash Scrapbooking Products

Great for Moms and/or tweens

7AM Enfant Baby Shield (SRP $138)

I’m a big fan of this brand.  This particular product is very attractive looking and I especially like the concept of having the low temperature zippered cover protects from the extreme winter weather and the lightweight zippered cover shields from the windy and moderately cold spring or fall days.  It’s universal to all strollers.  However, I dislike that it doesn’t grow with your child and would need to re-buy as your child gets bigger.

Seedling Make Your Own Snow Globe (SRP $28.00)

Loog Guitar

The Loog Guitar started as an academic project in 2010 when Rafael Atijas developed the concept as his Master’s thesis at NYU. The company’s main goal is not to make the most profit, but to offer a product that is unique and well-designed.  In March 2011, The Loog Guitar was launched via Kickstarter, a fundraising website for creative projects. We set the goal to raise $15,000 and instead ended up raising $65,618 from people all over the world who believed in the project and wanted to play a part in bringing this idea to life.

Rowdy Sprout

Designer and colorful entrepreneur Laura Angotti brings nostalgia to parents abound by offering classic rocker tees to the little ones of our world. She has personally and prudently hand selected the bands and designs currently available in the Rowdy Sprout product line. These hip and funky styles are offered to children anywhere from recently sprouted (3 months) to wordy back talkers (8 years)!

Indie Rock Button Factory (SRP $18)

La Miniatura Navy Cable Knit Cardishirtagan (SRP $104 OUCH, that is not a typo or joke)

Had to put this on my list, but can’t justify the price for a toddler.  Designer Jeffrey Sebelia won season three of the Bravo series Project Runway.

Lastly, the Neon Bugaboo

After reading about it, I must admit I was not as WOWed by it in person and will stop badgering my husband to sell our Bugaboo to get this style.   That’s not to say, I don’t like this frame and if I didn’t already own a perfectly wonderful Bugaboo, I wouldn’t consider this one.

Babesta is the ultimate lifestyle brand, located in the heart of TriBeCa, for parents, relatives and friends who want to give a tot a little bit of ‘tude. Babesta is the cool kid on the block who will never steer you wrong. They have the best clothing, furniture and toys and cater to hip parents like you who seek the latest in fashion and design but refuse to sacrifice practicality.

Will you be adding any of these to your wish lists?

Disclaimer:  I did receive a made-to-order tee for my tot.  All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
